Are you confused on what the difference between a Facebook profile and a fan page is?  Do you need more Twitter followers?  What IS a Twitter follower?  Then this is the workshop you can’t miss this summer!

SCVNGR, a Google Venture funded gaming company in Cambridge is hosting educational workshops for small and local business owners.

We will be hosting 3 free classes to get you started on connecting to what the kids are calling, the “social graph”.  Whether you are a true social novice or just someone who could use a few extra pointers on how to best execute a viral marketing campaign through crowd sourcing engagements, join us for a delicious breakfast and learn the finer art of digital engagement.

We are very fortunate to have Janet Aronica (@janetaronica), Director of Marketing and Community at OneForty presenting on this topic.  Please feel free to come with prepared questions for our guest speaker.

Some of the topics we will be covering in this introduction:

  • Social Media: History/Background
  • Popular Platforms/Tools
  • Examples of Best Practices
  • Examples of Common Pitfalls
  • Introduction into Mobile/Location
  • Trends and Direction
  • FAQs

Please direct all additional questions or comment to christian@scvngr.com.

Hope to see you all there!
